Dogtooth Books is a new line of titles from Nomad Press.

Our first title, Riddle in the Mountain, has been chosen as a Book Sense Children's Pick for Winter 2005 / 2006! Thank you to all the readers who enjoyed this title enough to recommend it for the Book Sense program.

Riddle in the Mountain has also received a good review from School Library Journal on January 1, 2006 (the review can been found through Books in Print, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon) and was featured in the Boulder Daily Camera on January 1, 2006. Riddle in the Mountain has also received very positive reviews online at The Reading Tub and at Wands and Words. Dogtooth was formed as a way for us to ensure that books that we liked to read could get published, even if the authors were unknown and the books themselves did not fit into preexisting niches being pushed by the New York publishers. Hey, it worked for Eragon! (Eragon was originally published by Paolini International, LLC, before being picked up by Alfred A. Knopf.)
