| About Nomad Press At Nomad Press (Colorado), we believe that knitters today have the same creativity and inventiveness as knitters have always had. Our books are designed to provide contemporary knitters with tools they can use to develop their creativity and to discover new aspects of knitting.
Nomad Press is a very small, fiercely independent publisher. The press was founded by Priscilla Gibson-Roberts as a means of ensuring that her books could be produced in a way that aligned with her vision. During 2003, Deborah Robson and Rebekah Robson-May assumed responsibility for the press. Nomad continues to honor and teach traditional creative and artistic skills and processes with a strong emphasis on textile crafts, especially knitting. We are also publishing a select group of middle-grade and young adult novels. (No unsolicited submissions accepted.) We hold ourselves to the highest editorial and production standards that are humanly possible, releasing only a small number of titles a year. See Books and Ordering for additional practical details. Feel free to e-mail us at nomad@nomad-press.com if you have any questions about Nomad. | |
